- Proposed Color Code for Balancing Reservoir -

 

Referring to the Contractor's letter ref.: IGJ/G16001.P/AECOM/2017-204 dated 23th June 2017 pertaining to the above matter.

 

There is no indication of specific color scheme in the Tender Drawings and Bills of Quantities for the Balancing Reservoir. However, the Contractor has received Drawing No. SAINS/WTR/STD/003 Standard Logo for RC Circular and Elevated Water Tank from the Local Authorities (SAINS) and it has to be complied by the Contractor.

 

As a standard requirement by the Authority, the Contractor should be aware and take into consideration in their tender submission of all these requirements which applies to all other similar projects and not for this project only. It is the Contractor's responsibility to check and confirm such requirements of the Authority during the tendering process.

 

Nevertheless, this color scheme should be provided by the Consultant during the design stage where the Consultant can include this into the design requirement. However, the Consultant did not receive any input from SAINS at the tender stage regarding the color scheme for the Balancing Reservoir.

 

We believe that this should have addressed the above matter.
